"Embeds" are basically different versions of the same gallery. Same images, different style.
When you go to 'Customize and Embed Gallery' you will notice in the sidebar you can create New Embed.
This means that from your one Gallery feed...
You can create different Gallery Layout designs, like Slider..
...or a Grid...
...and embed them anywhere.
